At last the struggle of Whatsapp for PC came to an end. Whatsapp finally announced Official WhatsApp for web. Now you don’t need to install any emulators like Bluestacks, Youwave etc., or no need to use any third-party clients or Browser extensions to use whatsApp on your desktop. Whatsapp now allows users to use it on your desktop browser.
Whatsapp announced this feature on 21st February 2015 in a blog post on its official blog. This service is currently only available for devices running on Android, Windows Phone 8.0 and 8.1, Nokia S60,Nokia S40 Single SIM EVO, BlackBerry and BB10 (not available IOS users) and only supported by Chrome browser.

Steps to use WhatsApp for web
- Open https://web.whatsapp.com in your Chrome web browser on your computer. Now a webpage with a QR Code will open.
- Now open WhatsApp on your mobile and navigate to Menu > WhatsApp web.
- And scan the QR code on your computer with your mobile. In a meanwhile your whatsapp account will appear on your computer browser.
Now you can view all your chats on your computer and your can chat with your friends on your browser just as you do on your mobile app. The messages are fully synced so you can send and view messages both on your mobile and computer simultaneously. But you cannot access your account settings through computer. You can logout by going to whatsapp web on your mobile app.
Note: Make sure your mobile is connected to internet as long as you are using Whatsapp web. And connect your mobile to Wi-Fi to avoid extra data charges.

The first and the foremost is your WhatsApp should be updated to the latest version – 2.11.498 or higher. Once done, open WhatsApp and navigate to menu as shown in the below pic to find the “WhatsApp Web”.

Unfortunately for now, the Web client is not available to iOS users due to Apple platform limitations. But don’t worry, it should soon be on its way!
How to scan QR code inside of WhatsApp?
On your mobile device, click the “WhatsApp Web” which opens the camera to scan the QR code. Point your device camera towards the QR code on the browser and once scanned successfully, WhatsApp on your phone will be paired with WhatsApp web client.

Your phone needs to stay connected to the internet for the web client to work. To reduce data usage, WhatsApp suggests to connect your phone to Wi-Fi.
